This page describes, in plain language, what MysticRestaurants.com collects and how it's used. We try to collect as little as possible.
Share-a-Plate submissions
When you submit a photo, comment, or review through Share-a-Plate, we store your submission privately. Submissions are reviewed before anything is published. Your photo, comment, and any optional contact information are kept private until you grant permission and a moderator approves the submission.
Contact information you provide
If you give us your name, email, phone, or hometown on any form, we use those details only to follow up about your submission or inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or publish your contact information.
Tonight's Shortlist
Your shortlist (the restaurants you've saved) is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. It does not leave your device and is not tied to an account.
Analytics and referral-intent events
We measure aggregate referral-intent activity — clicks on a restaurant's website, directions link, phone, or reservation link. These are signals of interest, not confirmation that a reservation was made or a meal was served.
Moderation and publication
Visitor submissions never publish automatically. Each one is reviewed first. Restaurant action clicks may be measured as referral-intent activity, but they are not treated as completed reservations.
